What StudiOS is

StudiOS is the control layer for the Roti ecosystem. It is designed to unify session context, hardware state, routing, protection, and automation in one coherent system. The goal: precise, recallable analog workflows that move at digital speed.

Status: active engineering. We are openly developing core services, device adapters, and DAW integration paths. Public timelines and availability are not being published at this stage.

Core principles

• Unified model: one graph for devices, signal paths, and control relationships.
• DAW‑native control: map parameters and states to automation lanes and session recall.
• Determinism: predictable state transitions and verifiable recall across sessions.
• Safety first: device protection policies, guardrails, and safe‑state fallbacks.
• Low friction: fast setup, sensible defaults, and minimal context switching.
• Extensibility: adapters for Roti hardware first, with pathways for third‑party devices.

AURA AI Engine at the core

The AURA AI Engine powers intelligent control in StudiOS. It is being developed to learn how analog hardware behaves under different conditions, use curated datasets to suggest operating points, and drive closed‑loop adjustments that respect the artist’s intent and the device’s limits.

• Dataset‑driven optimization of analog stages and routing choices.
• Session‑aware recommendations that align with your DAW timeline and automation.
• Policy‑based control to balance tone, headroom, thermal limits, and protection.

We will share technical notes on model scope, training data sources, and evaluation methods as the engine matures. We are not publishing benchmark claims at this time.

Planned integrations

StudiOS is being architected to integrate across Roti hardware and connect with your DAW. Initial targets include:

• Auricus — hybrid analog/digital amp profiling and guitar ecosystem.
• AMCA88 — 8×8 analog amplifier and cabinet routing matrix.
• Gateway Nexus — scalable audio and control transport infrastructure.
• Robotic Microphone Positioning Arm — precise, repeatable placement with session recall.
• Smart DSP Plate Amplifier — integrated power, DSP, protection, and display platform.

DAW connectivity is a core requirement. We are designing for tight session alignment, parameter automation, and transport awareness. Specific DAW adapter details will follow after engineering validation.

What it will enable

• Producers and artists: recall tones and routings per song; automate analog moves alongside your DAW lanes.
• Mix engineers: snapshot complex outboard chains; commit confidently with deterministic state recall.
• Studios and integrators: standardize rooms; push configurations and protections across systems.
• Touring and installations: enforce safe operating envelopes; monitor and adjust from a central view.
• R&D and testing: run repeatable sweeps, capture datasets, and iterate hardware settings under control.

How we are approaching it

• Service‑oriented core with device adapters for each Roti product.
• Session graph that maps analog paths, control nodes, and automation bindings.
• Transport and timing alignment through Gateway Nexus for scalable I/O and control.
• Local‑first operation with optional network coordination for multi‑room facilities.
• Clear separation between deterministic control and AI‑assisted guidance.

Transparency on status

StudiOS and the AURA AI Engine are in development. Interfaces, feature scope, and integration order are subject to change as we validate engineering decisions with real workloads. We are not announcing pricing, certification status, beta dates, or release timelines in this post.
